Terms & Conditions  

These terms apply to all purchases made via www.thetilecollection.co.nz and in-store at The Tile Collection.

1. Promotion Details  
Discounts apply to selected products only. Final prices as marked. Promotions cannot be applied to prior purchases, afterpays, lay-bys, indent orders or special orders.

2. Eligibility  
Offers are valid for retail customers within New Zealand only and exclude trade, wholesale, and commercial accounts unless otherwise stated. All offers are subject to stock availability.

3. Exclusions  
Excludes clearance items, custom/special orders, gift cards, installation, and delivery fees. Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.

4. Orders & Availability  
Adding items to cart does not guarantee availability. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. If items are out of stock, customers will be notified with an estimated delivery timeframe or offered a refund.

5. Pricing & Errors  
All prices are in NZD and include GST. We reserve the right to correct pricing or typographical errors. Where an error occurs, customers will be contacted to confirm or cancel the order.

6. Delivery  
Delivery charges apply to all orders. Additional charges may apply for specialised delivery requirements (e.g. Hiab, difficult access). Delivery timeframes are estimates only, and we are not liable for delays outside our control.

7. Returns & Exchanges  
Our standard returns policy applies. Sale items may not be refundable or exchangeable unless faulty. Refunds are processed at the purchase price paid.

8. Consumer Rights  
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986. Remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods include repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.

9. Cancellations  
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch without penalty. Once processed or shipped, cancellation may incur freight and handling charges.

10. Payment Terms  
Full payment is required prior to delivery. A 50% deposit may be required to secure certain orders. Deposits for indent or special-order items are non-refundable. Accepted payment methods include Cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Afterpay, Q-Card, PayPal, Shop Pay, and bank transfer.

11. Product Information Disclaimer  
Product descriptions, specifications, and features are provided in good faith based on supplier and manufacturer information. Variations may occur. Any terminology used to describe product features (including but not limited to flushing systems, finishes, or design styles) is used descriptively and does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by third-party trade mark owners.

12. Intellectual Property  
All third-party trade marks, product names, and brand references remain the property of their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, The Tile Collection does not claim any association with or endorsement by such parties.

13. Limitation of Liability  
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Tile Collection shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of its products or services.

14. Ordering Guidance  
We recommend ordering 10–15% extra tiles to allow for cuts, breakages, and future repairs. Stock availability may vary between batches.

15. General  
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
